    I saw that movie. They shoot him out of the enterprise in what Seinfeld likened to a big sunglasses case.

          yup, sums it up well

          I met him at my Dad's dept. store when I was a kid. He was signing alblums.
          He wanted to shake the Spock image but kept getting called just that. I kinda felt bad for him then, but he finaly embraced the role which he was perfect for. What a great character.

          He was a stitch in the Star Trek movie about the whales when they traveled back to the 20th cent. He stole the show.. my favorite

              Wasn't a huge Star Trek fan, but I loved the show "In Search Of".

              He did an outstanding job as the narrator.

              Also, loved him in the episode of Columbo where he's a murderous surgeon.

              From what I can tell it seems like he was a great guy too.

                    I was a Trekie.. saw all the episodes and movies..
