I may, but then it might be too late to have some middle ground. I already lost a chunk of middle.

Last night ECU was +7 -110, + 7 1/2 - 120, + 8.5 -130, + 9 -135.

I was likely going to take the +9. But now it's +7 -120, and -150 for +8 1/2. I'm not paying $750 to win $500.

I'd like to offer Novi a chop, but many of these guys don't check in here very often. I would think Novi would stop in before game time, but maybe not.

Last night, +8.5 was -130, + 9 -135. I had planned to buy the 8 1/2 this morning. I was on hold with 5dimes for 45minutes. The line moved. by game time +7 was -120. +8 1/2 was -150. I had made up my mind I was going to hedge 500 if I could get it done. I had a hard time justifying another $150 to move off the 7, to 8 1/2.

BBQ was nice enough to put the hedge in for me at +7 -120 ($600). I net $1100, but it would have been $2200 had I paid the extra $150. It would be fun if BBQ was brave enough to buy the other 1.5 for his own gain of $1100, but he was pretty busy, so I doubt it.

All things considered I got pretty lucky. ECU was moving the ball pretty well, and Florida was doing nothing. Lots of 3 n outs.

I kinda regret not buying it up to 8 1/2, but $150 to buy the 8 and win another $1100. Doesn't seem worth it to me. That's 7 to 1. But in hindsight, I suppose if you play the game 8 times, it would probably land on the 8 once.

I think if they played the game next week, I'd probably take ECU's side of things. They have some big receivers. Good team.
