Welcome to Analyzers FREE MajorWager superbowl prop bet and Tournament Challenge SEASON 2.
I am upping the ante this year to a potential $250.00 paid out or more, but it will be more challenging to get paid. Contest is open to any Major Wager member, who has at least 10 posts to their name prior to today, like last year, mods are encouraged to play, and I will be major disappointed if they don't.
The first part is simple, answer the following 30 True False questions in this thread by Saturday night midnight (I have 70 people coming over Sunday, and may not be able to add anyone at that point). Please use this format:
1.T
2.F
rather than
1. True
2. False.
INCLUDE a tie-breaker total for the game. If you forget, you will be assigned 47.
1. Patriots will win the coin flip
2. Patriots will punt twice first (no team punts 2x = no Qstn)
3. 1st TD scored by a player numbered 30 or higher (no Td=no Qstn)
4. Patriots will kick the first FG (No FG = No Qstn)
5. Patriots will score the longest TD (if no td, or tie, = no Qstn)
6. Patriots will kick the longest FG (If no fg's, or tie, = no Qstn)
7. A kicker will miss a FG (if no fg attempts = F, Blk’d = T)
8. At least 3 turnovers in the game (fmbls and int's only)
9. More than 8 1/2 punts in the game
10. More than 4 1/2 Sacks in the game
11. At least 3 players with a pass attempt
12. Total ydg of all made FGs over 111 1/2
13. Both teams combine for more than 2 1/2 rushing TDs
14. Patriots will have more First Downs (espn)
15. T. Brady will have more than 260 1/2 yds passing (espn)
16. R. Wilson will have more than 37 1/2 yds rushing (espn)
17. M. Lynch will have more than 82.5 yards rushing (espn)
18. A player will have multiple TD receptions
19. A team will score 3 times in a row
20. There will be a def or special teams TD (Fake fg/punt TD count)
21. At least ONE of the following will occur: A safety, OT, A successful onside kick, A successful 2 point conversion
22. There will be a score in the first 6:00 of the 2nd half
23. There will be a score in the last 1:59 of the 4th Quarter
24. Patriots will score more points in the 1st Qtr tie = F
25. Patriots will score more points in the 2nd Qtr tie = F
26. Patriots will score more points in the 3rd Qtr tie = F
27. Patriots will score more points in the 4th Qtr tie = F
28. More than 24 1/2 points scored in the 1st Half
29. Margin of victory will be more than 5 1/2 points
30. Patriots will win the game.
Tie-breaker Total:
Payouts:
1st: 4 tournament births potential to win $25 each
2nd 3 tournament births $25 each
3rd 2 tournament births $25 each
Last 1 tournament birth for LOSERS $25 (the tie breaker for last, is the reverse. The farthest from the total)
Pool: Anyone who beats me, will be placed in the pool, and have an opportunity at $25.00
The next part is a little trickier. Those with tournament births will select from the mens WCHA hockey playoffs, Mens NCAA basketball tournament, the Masters, the Kentucky Derby, the NHL playoffs, and the NBA finals. In short, if any of your selections win the tournament, you win $25.00. 1st place in the prop contest will get to try 4 different tournaments and win up to $100.00, 2nd gets 3 tries, 3rd 2 tries, and the last place LOSER gets 1 try. You may select from the following events/tournaments.
MENS NCAA HOCKEY: pick 2 teams, 1 must be a 3 or 4 seed.
MENS NCAA Basketball tourny. Pick 4 teams. Not more than 1, of each of the #1's, 2's and 3's, unless you want to give up a 1 for an extra 2, or a 2 for an extra 3. etc. The 4th pick must be a 6th seed or worse.
Masters: Pick 3 golfers. 1 must be out of the top 10. You may wait and pick 2 golfers after the opening round, or 1 golfer after the 2nd round, but if you wait until AFTER the tourny starts, you must select from golfers at least 1 shot off the lead.
Kentucky Derby: Pick 2 horses. 1 from the top 5 favorites, and 1 from the rest of the field.
NHL Stanley Cup: Pick 2 teams prior to the first round, 1 must be 5 seed or worse
NBA playoffs: Pick 2 teams prior to the first round, 1 must be a 5 seed or worse.
==============
THE POOL. Anyone who beats me in the prop contest, will be placed in the pool. NOT Including those who finish 1, 2, and 3. POOL players will pick every tournament. I pick first. If you have a selection that beats my best, you will continue to advance through the tourny field. If you don't you are eliminated. Anyone who survives, and beats me all 6 tournies, will get paid $25.00.
============
Yeah, yeah, I know, it's alot of work for $25.00. BUT it doesn't cost you a penny.
This is all done for fun, and to have a little banter between friends. Lets have some fun.
=============
Note, if you are the LOSER, that finishes last in the Prop bets, you will have ONE Shot at $25.00 in the tournament of your choice. The catch is, you have to select a team that LOSES the championship/finishes runner-up to get paid. No you can't take the Vikings, and the NIT isn't part of this, so the Gophers are out too.
