After the SAG Awards Boyhood went from 1/6 odds to win best picture to 4/5 and Birdman went from 10/1 to 6/5.

Birdman WILL NOT win best picture - bank on it!!! Boyhood will win this in a walk. It won all the major awards that are good predictors of Oscar success and the Richard Linkletter will take the DGA Award in 2 weeks. The "best ensemble cast" means squat but the books over reacted.

The ensemble cast award was a way to reward Michael Keaton and Edward Norton for not winning their respective acting categories and also the popular director who won't win the best director award. Birdman was a mediocre movie at best and didn't even win the minor category at the Golden Globes (best comedy).

I say by this time in 2 weeks Boyhood will be 1/3 or lower.

Not true Buck and I always do well at the Oscars. Trust me this is as easy money as it comes.

Take a look at Birdman's accolades. It won best film in Phoenix and St. Louis, 2 critics awards that mean nothing.

If you look at the past 10 winners of this award you'll see that almost all of them won the same critics awards that Boyhood won.
