He won't get to play either way.. so would you want to carry the clipboard in college or the NFL?

Who is advising this guy? 3 months ago you were the 3rd string QB, maybe the other two guys were great, but you were 3rd string. You can makes millions and if you invest right be set for life. I laugh at the people that say these kids should stay in school. If a sophomore business student wrote an amazing paper and Apple offered the kid $2 million to come out early not one person would say "Stick around and get your degree". Take the $$$

Agreed BBQ.. he's likely going to ride the bench next year at OSU.. even if he does share playing time, there is absolutely no chance he is going to do anything close to what he did in the 3 games (Wisky, Bama, Ducks) he got to play in this year.. his stock will never be higher than now.. go get all the money you can and ride the bench in the NFL instead of at OSU.

Wrong! Correct decision! Whether he plays or not college, won't -EV affect his draft stock. May +EV affect it. He doesn't play next year, those legendary 3 games stand and he can impress in the combines and Wonderlicky.

Johnny Football is an example of should have stayed. 2 more years to mature and get (special needs) training to be a drop back NFL quarterback like Conner Kook is doing. Yes, running A&M's offense wouldn't help but he could have gotten ready for the next level in the off season. Conner Kook, smart. Johnny Football, stupid.
